About the event
Founded in 2024, One Table Show is a quarterly series of live one-hour shows showcasing diverse Tacoma talent and taking place at ‘one table’ sets in neighborhood bars, restaurants, or cafes around the city. For each performance, directors collaborate with performers to develop characters, original short scenes, and monologues, rehearsing scenes in advance but leaving plenty of room for on-the-spot improvisation. Showcasing a combination of topical drama, sketch comedy, and improv, each performance is free and open to the public, ensuring accessibility for all community members.
